This was our second time booking with borrowaboat, and once again, it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. The customer service was top-notch, they had solid local insights, and both the price and quality of the product were outstanding.

Best deal around. Fantastic vessel (FP Elba 45) rented from Athens for 5 weeks. No CDW excess. Well-equipped boat. Great communication from Borrow a Boat.

Had a pretty good time overall, even though the last night was a bit nerve-wracking because of a fierce wind storm that wrecked a few boats at Porto Ponente in Vulcano. The boat felt a bit under-equipped for a new one, with not much wood, some cheap cutlery, and an anchor that was a bit loose. Everything else was quite nice, and the boat's structure was solid. My main issue was with the self check-in process (using an iPad), which felt rushed and not very effective. In the end, the man-assisted check-in was also too quick, leaving no time to ask questions, even though I had rented the boat for two weeks. Other than that, the surroundings were lovely, and the cruise was enjoyable. Just a heads up, moorings around the islands can be pretty pricey.

We enjoyed an amazing week in the Dodecanese islands of Greece. The team at borrowboat was excellent, and everything was super organized. The Jeanneau 519 we rented was fully equipped and in top-notch condition. I’d surely suggest borrowboat to anyone!

I met the BorrowABoat crew at a boat show, snagged a sweet deal, and decided to book a charter in Greece. The whole process, from reservation to the end of the charter, was smooth as butter. What a fantastic time we had! Dealing with Borrow-a-Boat was a breeze, and we’d definitely go with them again. We had to change our original booking because of Covid, but they made it super easy—just what you want, right? The Dufour 375 from Alavela Yachting in Sotogrande was in top shape and fully equipped, with awesome bedding and towels. The handover process was straightforward, and then we were off. We enjoyed some good winds and had an overall amazing holiday.

I just returned after a week on an amazing catamaran. I gotta say, Elsa Kassis from borrowaboat provided top-notch service. This was my first time taking my family out solo, and I had tons of questions that were answered with so much patience. Overall, the boat was fantastic, the maintenance was spot on, and the owner was super helpful. Thanks a bunch, Elsa - can't wait for my next adventure - my experience was truly outstanding.

I gotta say, the help I got from Elsa was top-notch. I needed a yacht on the fly, and they managed to locate a solid option at a fair price. The boat owner was quick to respond, and even though there were a couple of hiccups, he really went out of his way to help fix the minor problems. I'll definitely think about using borrowaboat again down the line.

Had an awesome experience with Borrow a Boat. Al managed to find us a fantastic charter in just 2 hours, and we were in a bit of a bind with only 12 hours left before our flight after another charter company dropped the ball on us. Al was super efficient and a pleasure to work with, and the local charter company we ended up using was also top-notch. Definitely recommend!

Al Miles has provided decent service, but since he acts as a middleman, his capacity to handle the ongoing situation is restricted. We made a reservation for a Cat in Corsica for May 2020, putting down a 50% deposit. This reservation is actually with Kiracoulis, who will only give a voucher that’s good for 18 months at the same spot. There’s no possibility of getting a refund or changing the location, and any future price hikes will be on us. Just a heads up for anyone thinking about future bookings.

I received top-notch assistance from Al who handled my question, and I’d rate him 5 stars. That said, I found a significantly better offer from another source, with the gap being several thousand Euros, which makes me think the company was pocketing a hefty commission or just didn’t get me the best price.

To sum it up, Al was fantastic, but I feel the company fell short of the competitive pricing it boasts about on its site.
